GEW MAE PAN TRAIL

Presentation:

Tall trees cloaked in mosses, ferns, orchids, and other epiphytes grace the beginning of its beautiful trail. This forest is home to many species of wildlife animals, including sambar deer, barking deer, wild pig, and many species of birds.

High-altitude grasslands dominate the second half of the trail, which offers views of the Mae Cham Valley.

Rhododendron trees cling to steep mountainsides; their red flowers can be seen in the cold season.

The trail ends at the King and Queen's Chedi, a short distance from the trail head. Hot food and drinks are available from the restaurant at the Chedi parking lot, as well as bathrooms and a phone.
